The ups and downs of life seem to be ever present

You navigate through life reacting, rather than responding. You feel stuck in the same cycles and patterns and something just feels off. You avoid your emotions by trying to stay busy and when bedtime hits your thoughts are a constant loop of overthinking. No matter what you’ve tried, you can’t seem to feel better. You’ve found it hard to experience true joy and can’t really remember a time when you felt balanced, whole, at peace. Frankly, it’s exhausting.

You want an expert therapist who can help you interrupt the patterns so you can live a life that you love. If you’re ready to abandon those feelings of disconnection and overwhelm, I’m here to help you get back on track.

Can you relate?

I’m overwhelmed by my life.

  • I don’t know how to navigate expectations around parenting, career, or success while in a relationship.

  • I feel pressured and say “yes” to too many things.

  • I want to have deep conversations and stop withdrawing and avoiding.

  • My life keeps changing and I can’t keep up.

  • I’m tired of carrying the emotional baggage from past trauma that impacts current relationships.

  • I need to be perfect.

  • I feel powerless and can’t make a decision.

  • I don’t know how to resolve conflict without escalating the situation or feeling endlessly frustrated and resentful.

You deserve to feel whole

Hi, I’m Laura.

I’m a therapist who has been in your shoes and hopes to partner with you on your journey to better days. Just like you, I’ve had my share of ups and downs. At the core of a successful therapeutic experience is the ability to relate and feel heard by your therapist — my hope is that you find that here.

I help you by balancing a warm, friendly, personable, supportive, and encouraging approach with gentle questioning to bring about self-awareness, insight, and real change. I pride myself in being a therapist who listens AND guides you to discover what you’re capable of.

I’m not afraid to tackle the hard parts or let you know when you are your biggest blocker, but I do it all from a compassionate and non-judgmental perspective.
